Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for collecting patient samples, performing laboratory tests, maintaining accurate records, ensuring quality standards, and supporting doctors with timely and accurate diagnostic reports.

Key Responsibilities

Collect blood and other patient samples following standard protocols.
Perform routine laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests.
Prepare, label, and store specimens appropriately.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of the laboratory.
Record and maintain patient test reports accurately.
Verify test results before submitting reports to doctors.
Follow quality control procedures and laboratory SOPs.
Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents, consumables, and equipment.
Dispose of biomedical waste according to prescribed guidelines.
Ensure compliance with NABL/NTEP/clinic quality standards (where applicable).
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and reception staff for smooth patient services.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control protocols.
