Lab Technician

We are looking for a Lab Technician (Home Visit) to join our team PREMIER HEALTH CENTER to assist in medical testing and dispensing medications. The role involves handling lab equipment, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position offers an in-hand salary of 12000 - 15000 Plus Incentives and other benefits.

Duties :

• Check assigned orders for the day, confirm patient locations and required tests. Load supplies (tubes, needles, forms, ice packs, etc.).

• Travel to patient homes/assisted living facilities. Perform patient ID, explain procedure, collect specimens (venipuncture, etc.). Label and process samples immediately. Document all collection details. Repeat this process for all scheduled morning visits.

• Drive collected specimens to the designated laboratory drop-off point, ensuring the samples are delivered within the required time and temperature constraints.

• Handle any late/urgent collection requests. Complete paperwork, enter data into the electronic system, and reconcile collection logs. Clean and restock the vehicle and collection kit for the next day.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is DMLT Certified and 0.6 months to 5 years experience. Attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminologies, and proficiency in handling lab instruments and medications are essential. Certification in a relevant field is a plus.
