Job Description

Blood collection and processing: Selecting donors, collecting blood, and processing it into various components. Blood testing: Performing blood typing, antibody screening, and compatibility testing (cross-matching) to ensure donor blood is safe for recipients. Infectious disease screening: Performing viral marker testing to ensure blood is free of infectious agents. Quality control: Adhering to strict protocols, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality assurance processes are followed to guarantee the accuracy and safety of the blood products. Storage and inventory management: Storing blood and its components under appropriate conditions and managing inventory to ensure adequate supply. Record keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all collection, testing, and storage activities.
