Lab Technician

As we expand our operations, we’re seeking a meticulous and proactive Lab Technician to join our quality assurance team and help us maintain the highest standards in product testing and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized tests on packaging materials (e.g., tensile strength, barrier properties, seal integrity)

• Analyze raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards

• Maintain accurate records of lab results, procedures, and equipment calibration logs

• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to troubleshoot material inconsistencies or failures

• Prepare samples for testing and assist in developing new testing protocols

• Ensure lab equipment is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly

  Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Packaging Technology, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in a lab technician role, preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG

  • Familiarity with lab instruments such as micrometers, seal testers, moisture analyzers, and spectrophotometers

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, data entry, report generation)

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and lab hygiene standards
