Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor chemical plant equipment including reactors, distillation columns, pumps, valves, and control systems.

• Adjust process variables (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow rates) to maintain safe and efficient plant operations.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or safety hazards.

• Collect samples and perform basic quality control tests to ensure product specifications are met.

• Record operational data accurately in logbooks or digital systems.

• Assist in plant startups, shutdowns, and emergency procedures as required.

• Perform minor maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE).

• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
