Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and safely store samples.

• Prepare samples, solutions, reagents, and laboratory materials as required.

• Perform laboratory tests according to approved SOPs and procedures.

• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.

• Assist senior technicians, scientists, or QC personnel with experiments and analysis.

• Record test results, observations, and laboratory activities accurately.

• Maintain laboratory records, inventory, and documentation.

• Ensure glassware, instruments, and work areas are clean and properly sterilized.

• Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and waste-disposal procedures.

• Report abnormal results, equipment issues, or deviations to the supervisor.

• Maintain adequate stock of chemicals, reagents, consumables, and other laboratory supplies.

• Follow company quality standards and applicable laboratory procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety practices.

• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs accurately.

• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.

• Freshers may be considered depending on the role.
