Lab Technician

Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Lab Analyst to join our technical team at Stellar Test House. The ideal candidate should be a Diploma or B.Tech holder in Civil Engineering with practical knowledge of construction material testing. You will be responsible for conducting physical and mechanical tests on building materials in accordance with IS Codes.

Note: Outstation candidates are encouraged to apply as we provide proper lodging facilities at the lab.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Testing:

Perform standard quality tests on construction materials, including but not limited to:

• Steel/TMT Bars: Tensile strength, yield stress, and elongation using UTM.

• Concrete: Compressive strength testing of Cubes.

• Cement: Consistency, initial/final setting time, and soundness tests.

• Aggregates (Sand/Grit): Sieve analysis, silt content, and specific gravity.

• Bricks: Water absorption, efflorescence, and crushing strength.

• Soil: Standard Proctor Test, moisture content, etc. (if applicable).

2. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily testing records and laboratory registers.

• Prepare accurate test reports based on observed data.

• Ensure all testing is compliant with relevant IS Codes (Indian Standards).

3. Lab Maintenance:

• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment (UTM, CTM, Sieves, Ovens) to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the laboratory.

Requirements

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 6 months - 3 years of experience.
