1. Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen labeling, handling, preservation or fixation, processing or preparation, transportation, shipping, archiving and storage of specimens.

2. Responsible for proper documentation when completing QA logs, instrument PM records, and other required laboratory forms

3. Maintain cleanliness of laboratory and restock with supplies

4. Lab Assistants support senior scientists and technicians by providing technical assistance and completing tasks as assigned
