Lab Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support our mushroom cultivation and spawn production operations. The ideal candidate should have a background in biology, microbiology, biotechnology, or agriculture, and a strong interest in mushroom culture techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in spawn production, culture maintenance, and sterilization processes.

• Prepare and maintain PDA media, agar plates, and liquid cultures for mushroom strain propagation.

• Operate and maintain autoclaves, laminar airflow chambers, and other laboratory equipment.

• Support tissue culture, isolation, and sub-culturing of mushroom mycelium under sterile conditions.

• Monitor culture growth, record observations, and report abnormalities.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the lab environment to avoid contamination.

• Assist in research and development of new mushroom strains and cultivation methods.

• Ensure all lab safety and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) protocols are followed.

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
