Junior Chemist

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Chemist with 1–3 years of experience to support for Leading Components Manufactures in Tamilnadu. The role involves material testing, process monitoring, and contributing to product development activities within a fast-paced components manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished components.

• Support the development and optimization of formulations, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Prepare test reports, maintain documentation, and update COAs as per company standards.

• Ensure laboratory instruments are calibrated, maintained, and functioning properly.

• Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and support root-cause analysis.

• Follow safety guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory/ISO requirements.

• Coordinate with production and R&D teams for smooth process and quality control.

Qualifications

• B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or components industry (preferably in QC/QA/R&D labs).

• Familiarity with analytical techniques such as FTIR, UV-Vis, Titration, Viscometry, Chromatography, etc.

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, material properties, and quality systems (ISO 9001/14001 preferred).
