Computer Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Computer Operator to manage data entry, billing, report generation, and system support functions in a busy diagnostics laboratory. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth and accurate handling of patient information, test results, and administrative records using lab software and basic IT tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter patient details and test information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) or billing software.

• Generate and print test reports and ensure timely delivery to patients or doctors.

• Handle billing, payment entries, and print invoices for patients.

• Coordinate with lab technicians and pathologists for accurate report documentation.

• Maintain and update digital records of test results and patient history.

• Assist in managing online appointments and data backups.

• Troubleshoot basic IT or software issues and escalate complex ones to technical support.

• Ensure confidentiality and security of all patient data.

• Support front-desk operations when needed (calls, appointments, inquiries).

Qualifications:

• 10+2 or Graduate in any discipline (preferably with a diploma in computer applications).

• 1–3 years of experience as a computer operator in a diagnostic lab, clinic, or healthcare setting.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and lab software like MediXcel, PathoGold, or similar.

• Good typing speed and accuracy.

• Basic understanding of medical test names and processes is preferred.

Salary: Rs.19,000–Rs.21,000/month (based on experience)
