Lab/Pharmacy Chemist - Quality Control

Business Development: Identify and approach prospective clients in the food, FMCG, nutraceutical, Ayurvedic, and related industries.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with food manufacturers, quality assurance teams, procurement teams, and regulatory professionals.

Food Testing Coordination: Understand client requirements for microbiological, chemical, nutritional, pesticide residue, heavy metal, and other applicable food testing parameters.

AYUSH & Cosmetics Coordination: Understand relevant testing requirements for Ayurvedic products and cosmetics, where applicable to the assigned portfolio.

Quotation & Follow-up: Prepare quotations, coordinate sample submissions, follow up on pending reports, and support timely closure of client enquiries.

Regulatory Awareness: Maintain working knowledge of applicable FSSAI requirements, relevant AYUSH regulations, cosmetic regulations, and laboratory testing standards.

Internal Coordination: Coordinate with laboratory analysts, quality assurance, sample collection, and reporting teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Sales Targets: Support revenue growth, customer acquisition, repeat business, and achievement of assigned business targets.

Documentation: Maintain client records, testing requests, quotations, purchase orders, and follow-up reports.

Market Research: Track competitor activities, identify new business opportunities, and expand the client base in the assigned territory.

3. Educational Qualifications

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related science discipline.

B.Pharm. / M.Pharm. or qualifications in Ayurveda may be relevant, depending on the role.

Relevant experience in food testing laboratories, cosmetics testing, AYUSH products, or laboratory business development is desirable.
