Chemist - Production

Job Title: Chemist
Department: Quality Control / Production / R&D
Location: Sihora, Kanhan, Parshioni, Nagpur-441401

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sample Testing & Analysis:

   • Perform analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

   • Operate instruments like HPLC, UV spectrophotometer, FTIR, etc.

   • Record and interpret test results in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

2. Documentation & Compliance:

   • Maintain proper lab records, logbooks, and analytical data as per GMP guidelines.

   • Prepare and review SOPs, specifications, and protocols.

   • Ensure compliance with regulatory norms like WHO-GMP / Schedule M.

3. Quality Assurance Support:

   • Assist in calibration and maintenance of lab instruments.

   • Participate in internal audits and implement corrective actions.

   • Ensure hygiene, safety, and cleanliness of the laboratory.

4. Production Batch Support (if in manufacturing):

   • Conduct in-process checks during batch manufacturing.

   • Support scale-up and validation batches.

   • Monitor critical process parameters.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm)

• Experience: 1–3 years

• Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of analytical techniques and lab instruments

  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP practices

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: As per industry standards
Shift: General or Rotational Shifts (based on department)
Reporting To: Quality Control Manager / Production Manager
