The Production Chemist is responsible for executing and supervising chemical production processes as per defined standards, ensuring product quality, compliance with safety norms, and optimal utilization of resources. This role requires hands on involvement in plant operations, process monitoring, and coordination with quality, maintenance, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out production activities as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch manufacturing records.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety guidelines.
Assist in monitoring production process
Support in quality checks by coordinating with the QC team.
Follow safety rules while handling chemicals and equipment.
Keep the workplace clean and organized.
Report any problems or abnormal observations to supervisors.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Sound knowledge of chemical processes, reactions, and unit operations.
Understanding of calculation and conversions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Qualification & Experience:
B.Sc. Chemistry (Organic / Industrial / Applied Chemistry preferred).
Fresher who are willing to learn can apply
1–3 years of experience in chemical / pharmaceutical / specialty chemical production.
