Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and research-oriented Chemist (R&D) with expertise in polymer or organic synthesis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in laboratory research, analytical testing, documentation, and characterization techniques related to polymer chemistry.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform polymer and organic synthesis research and development activities.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and develop new formulations as per project requirements.
• Analyze and interpret data obtained from various analytical instruments.
• Ensure accurate testing, documentation, and reporting of laboratory results.
• Prepare and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA), test reports, and quality records.
• Monitor product quality by conducting routine analytical tests.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for process improvement and product development.
## Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Polymer Chemistry• and Organic Synthesis.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and techniques:
• GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography)
• FTIR Spectroscopy
• Mass Spectrometry
• ¹H NMR Spectroscopy
• Ability to interpret analytical data accurately.
• Experience in testing and analysis of:
• Viscosity
• Hydroxyl (OH) Value
• Acid Value
• Base Value
• Iodine Value
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
• M.Sc. in Polymer Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.
• 2–5 years of experience in polymer or organic synthesis research.
• Experience in specialty chemicals, polyurethane, silicone, or related chemical manufacturing industries will be preferred.
