Role Overview

The SDS Modeler is responsible for developing precise 3D structural steel models and delivering fabrication-ready outputs for various projects, including commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D structural steel models and generate fabrication-ready outputs.

• Interpret IFC structural and architectural drawings to ensure modeling aligns with project requirements.

• Ensure compliance with AISC, AWS standards, and project specifications.

• Identify and resolve modeling clashes and design inconsistencies.

• Collaborate closely with detailers, checkers, and fabrication teams to incorporate feedback and client markups.

• Maintain project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of AISC steel standards and fabrication practices.

• Hands-on experience in US structural steel projects.

• Exposure to US fabrication standards and international structural steel projects.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Competencies

• Attention to detail and accuracy in modeling.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills for design and modeling challenges.

• It is a Full Time IT / Software / Data Analyst job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
