Job Title: WordPress Developer (E-commerce)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, website customization, and performance optimization. The candidate should be capable of building responsive, user-friendly, and conversion-focused websites that deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on e-commerce.

• Build and customize WooCommerce stores, including product pages, checkout flows, and payment gateway integrations.

• Develop custom themes and customize existing WordPress themes based on business requirements.

• Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins while ensuring website security and performance.

• Optimize website speed, responsiveness, SEO, and overall user experience.

• Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.

• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and marketing platforms.

• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across major browsers.

• Perform regular website updates, backups, and security maintenance.

• Collaborate with designers, digital marketers, and content teams to implement new features and improvements.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in WordPress development.

• Strong proficiency in WordPress and WooCommerce.

• Good knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.

• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience integrating payment gateways, shipping methods, and third-party APIs.

• Familiarity with website security, caching, and performance optimization.

• Basic understanding of SEO best practices for WordPress websites.

• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing e-commerce websites using WooCommerce.

• Experience with Shopify migration or multi-vendor marketplaces is a plus.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel integration.

• Knowledge of hosting environments, cPanel, Cloudflare, and website deployment.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and deliver projects within deadlines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in WordPress development.

• Experience in designing and developing e-commerce websites is highly preferred.
