Web Developer

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the official website and related digital systems of Save Medha Foundation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain the Save Medha Foundation website.

• Create responsive, mobile-friendly web pages and landing pages.

• Manage website content, blogs, patient stories, campaign pages, and donation pages.

• Build and manage forms for patient registration, appointment booking, volunteer registration, and contact inquiries.

• Improve website speed, security, SEO structure, and user experience.

• Integrate payment gateway, WhatsApp button, email notification, Google Analytics, and other tools.

• Work on admin panel or dashboard if required.

• Maintain regular website backup and security updates.

• Fix technical issues, bugs, broken links, and design problems.

• Coordinate with the content, design, and marketing team.

• Ensure medical/health-related content is displayed responsibly with proper disclaimers.

• Support future development of web apps, CRM, patient database, and online campaign systems.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience with React.js / Next.js preferred

• Basic knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB preferred

• WordPress knowledge will be an added advantage

• Knowledge of responsive web design

• Basic SEO understanding

• Experience with website hosting, domain, SSL, and deployment

• Git/GitHub knowledge

• Ability to work with APIs and third-party integrations

• Basic UI/UX understanding

• Problem-solving mindset

Preferred Skills

• MERN Stack development

• WordPress and WooCommerce management

• AWS / Vercel / Netlify deployment

• Payment gateway integration

• Google Search Console and Analytics

• Basic graphic editing knowledge

• Knowledge of Bengali/English content formatting

• Experience in healthcare or NGO websites will be preferred

Qualification

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related field

• or

• Strong practical experience with a good portfolio
