Technical Assistant

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our team at at Powernet Communications Private Limited, contributing to software, data, or IT system development and support. This role offers an in-hand salary of ₹10,000 - ₹20,000 and a chance to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:
Install and commission FTTH/Broadband connections.

• Perform OFC (Optical Fiber Cable) laying, jointing, and splicing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve FTTH, broadband, and voice service complaints.

• Configure and install ONT/ONU, Wi-Fi routers, and networking devices.

• Test fiber links using appropriate testing equipment and ensure signal quality.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber networks.

• Coordinate with the NOC and OLT team to resolve network issues.

• Attend customer complaints within the defined SLA and ensure timely resolution.

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding internet and Wi-Fi usage.

• Coordinate with field teams and vendors for installation and maintenance activities.

• Maintain installation, fault resolution, and service reports.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures during field work.

• Verify service quality before closing installation or complaint tickets.

• Maintain good customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 6 months - 5 years of experience. Hands-on knowledge of and modern tools is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required.
