Key Responsibilities

Off-Page SEO – Primary Focus

• Build high-quality backlinks through relevant websites and platforms.

• Perform backlink research and competitor backlink analysis.

• Handle directory submissions, business listings, social bookmarking, classified submissions, and other relevant off-page activities.

• Identify relevant link-building opportunities.

• Monitor backlinks and maintain backlink reports.

• Assist with outreach and guest-posting activities.

• Track domain authority, referring domains, and backlink quality.

• Avoid spammy and low-quality link-building practices.

On-Page SEO – Working Knowledge

• Keyword research and keyword mapping.

• Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and content.

• Internal linking and basic content optimization.

• Identify basic on-page SEO issues.

• Understand search intent and keyword placement.

• Basic knowledge of image SEO and schema markup.

Tools Knowledge

Candidates should have basic familiarity with:

• Google Search Console

• Google Analytics

• Google Keyword Planner

• Ahrefs / Semrush / Ubersuggest

• Screaming Frog

• Google Sheets / Excel

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of Off-Page SEO

• Practical understanding of On-Page SEO

• Good research and analytical skills

• Good written communication

• Ability to understand SEO reports and metrics

• Willingness to learn and experiment

• Basic understanding of Google search algorithms and SEO best practices

Preferred Candidate

A candidate who has already worked on at least 1–2 websites/projects and can explain what SEO activities they performed, what backlinks they created, and how they measured results will be preferred.

Performance Expectations

The intern should be able to independently execute basic off-page activities, assist with on-page optimization, maintain SEO reports, and gradually take ownership of assigned websites.

• It is a Full Time IT / Software / Data Analyst job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
