QA / Application Support Engineer

Job Title: Trading Desk IT Support Engineer (L2 / L2+)

Location: Mumbai (Worli / Client Site)
Relevant Experience: min. 4 –6 Years
Salary: As per industry standards

Employment Type: Full Time / Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Support trading applications like Omnesys (NEST), NEAT, BOLT, Greek

• Manage FIX connectivity and troubleshoot related issues

• Perform EOD/BOD activities for trading applications and risk tools

• Handle production issues during market hours with quick resolution

• Deploy patches and upgrades in UAT and Production environments

• Manage server installation, configuration, and maintenance

• Support systems in NSE / BSE / MCX Colo Data Centers

• Work on Active Directory and user access management

• Monitor trading network and ensure low latency performance

• Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and enhancements

• Perform daily backups and ensure system security compliance

• Support Bloomberg terminals and trading-related tools

Key Skills Required:

✅ Must Have:

• Experience in Trading / Capital Markets environment

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Trading applications (NEST / NEAT / BOLT)

  • FIX Protocol & connectivity

• Strong production support experience (L2 level)

✅ Good to Have:

• Exposure to Algo Trading setup

• Experience with Colo Data Centers (NSE/BSE/MCX)

• Knowledge of VMware / Virtualization

• Understanding of Cyber Security practices

Candidate Profile:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work in high-pressure trading environment

• Good communication skills (interaction with traders/dealers)

Preferred:

• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period

• Candidates with prior experience in similar BFSI/trading clients
