Job Description

Job Title: QA Tester (Manual / Automation)
Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh (Work from Office)
Experience: 0–3 Years (Freshers with strong testing knowledge can also apply)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, defect tracking, test case creation, and a basic understanding of automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and functional requirements.
Create and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
Perform Manual Testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.
Conduct Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and UAT testing.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to resolve issues.
Verify bug fixes and ensure software quality before release.
Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and sprint testing activities.
Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and security standards.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with Manual Testing methodologies.
Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and API Testing.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver.
Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
