Job Description – IT Support Engineer

Location: Patparganj, Delhi
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled IT professional with 3–6 years of experience in hardware support, system maintenance, and enterprise IT infrastructure management. The candidate should have strong knowledge of desktop/laptop troubleshooting, operating system installation, enterprise-grade systems, and end-user technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Perform hardware troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for IT equipment.
Install and configure Windows operating systems and related software applications.
Manage and support enterprise/high-end systems and workstations.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Provide technical support to end users for system, application, and connectivity problems.
Configure and maintain system backups, antivirus, and security updates.
Handle system upgrades, patch management, and performance optimization.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, and warranty support.
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of systems and configurations.
Ensure smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and minimize downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–6 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware and desktop support.
Strong knowledge of Windows installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with enterprise/high-end systems, servers, and workstations.
Good understanding of computer hardware, networking basics, and system security.
Familiarity with Active Directory, remote support tools, and system backup processes is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
