Desktop Support Engineer / Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience to provide onsite technical support to users at different client locations across Mumbai.

The selected candidate will be deputed to different sites based on business requirements, generally for a period of 2–3 months at each location.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide desktop and onsite IT support to end users.

· Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.

· Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and applications.

· Perform hardware and software troubleshooting.

· Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP issues.

· Install and configure required software and applications.

· Provide basic Active Directory and user-account support.

· Handle IT support tickets and resolve issues within the defined SLA.

· Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support team.

· Maintain IT asset and inventory records.

· Provide onsite support at different client locations across Mumbai.

· Maintain proper documentation and follow company IT policies and procedures.

· Communicate professionally with users and client representatives.

Required Skills

· Good knowledge of Windows 10/11.

· Basic knowledge of Active Directory, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.

· Good understanding of desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting.

· Knowledge of printers and other IT peripherals.

· Basic knowledge of MS Office and software installation.

· Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

· Willingness to work at different locations across Mumbai.

Qualification

• Graduate or Non-Graduate candidates can apply.

• SSC / HSC / ITI / Diploma candidates with relevant experience can also apply.

• IT-related certifications will be an added advantage.

• It is a Full Time IT / Software / Data Analyst job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
