Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making within our NBFC operations. The role involves analyzing financial and customer data, generating insights, and assisting teams in areas such as credit risk, collections, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze large datasets related to lending, customer behavior, and financial performance
Develop dashboards and MIS reports for business and management review
Support credit risk analysis, underwriting insights, and portfolio monitoring
Work closely with business teams (credit, collections, finance) to identify trends and improve processes
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
Assist in regulatory and compliance reporting (RBI norms, audit requirements)
Automate reports and improve data workflows for efficiency
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of financial services, lending lifecycle, or NBFC operations
Basic knowledge of statistical techniques and data modeling
Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in NBFC, banking, fintech, or financial services
Knowledge of credit risk modeling or portfolio analytics
Familiarity with Python / R for data analysis
Understanding of RBI regulations and reporting frameworks
