Cyber Security Consultant (Entry-Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cyber Security Consultant to join our growing security team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to build a career in information security. The selected candidate will assist in identifying security risks, supporting security assessments, monitoring systems, and helping clients implement security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and basic security testing.

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.

• Support the implementation of cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.

• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks.

• Prepare security assessment reports and documentation.

• Help clients understand and implement security controls.

• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security requirements.

• Support incident response activities and security awareness initiatives.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking, and operating systems.

• Knowledge of common cyber threats, malware, phishing, and ransomware.

• Familiarity with security tools such as antivirus, firewalls, SIEM, or vulnerability scanners is an advantage.

• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and network security fundamentals.

• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.

• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.

• Basic knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls is a plus.
