Job Description – Computer Operator (E-commerce)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Computer Operator who has basic knowledge of computers, e-commerce platforms, and MS Excel. The candidate will be responsible for managing product listings, updating orders, maintaining records, and performing day-to-day computer and e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and update product listings on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Flipkart, Walmart, etc.
Enter and maintain product details, prices, stock, SKUs, and other information.
Process and update customer orders and shipment details.
Track shipments and update delivery information when required.
Handle basic customer queries and coordinate with the relevant team.
Maintain daily records and reports using MS Excel.
Perform basic data entry, sorting, filtering, and formatting in Excel.
Check product information for accuracy and make necessary corrections.
Maintain proper records of inventory, orders, returns, and cancellations.
Perform other computer-related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
Basic to good knowledge of Computer Operations.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
Basic understanding of E-commerce platforms and online selling.
Good typing and data-entry skills.
Ability to work with product data and maintain accuracy.
Basic knowledge of internet, email, and online tools.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn new software and e-commerce platforms quickly.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience with Amazon, eBay, Flipkart, Walmart, or other e-commerce platforms will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Excel formulas such as XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, IF, FILTER, and basic functions is a plus.
Experience in inventory, order processing, or product listing will be preferred.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on a computer for extended periods. Freshers with good computer knowledge and an interest in e-commerce can also apply.
