Role Summary

The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting all surveillance activities within the mall to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operations of the premises. The role plays a critical part in preventing incidents, detecting suspicious activity, and supporting security and mall management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the mall

• Observe, identify, and report any suspicious activity, theft, safety hazards or violations

• Coordinate with security guards, mall operations, and management during incidents

• Maintain and review CCTV footage when required for investigations

• Ensure cameras, recording devices, and control room equipment are functioning properly

• Maintain incident logs and daily surveillance reports

• Support mall evacuation, emergency, and safety drills

• Maintain strict confidentiality of surveillance data

• Follow all security SOPs and mall safety protocols

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience as a CCTV Operator / Surveillance Executive / Security Control Room Executive

• Experience in malls, hotels, IT parks, hospitals, or large commercial properties preferred

• Knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, access control, and monitoring software

• Basic computer knowledge for report writing and footage handling

• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Good observation, communication, and coordination skills
