Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Generate qualified B2B leads through outbound calls, LinkedIn and email campaigns; identify relevant companies and decision-makers across Retail, Manufacturing and F&B segments.

• Research prospects and their business needs before outreach, and build/maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent follow-up.

• Qualify leads on business requirement, budget, authority and potential; schedule meetings with decision-makers for demos and solution discussions.

• Coordinate with the sales/technical team for meetings and demos, and ensure timely follow-up after every meeting to move opportunities forward.

• Deliver introductory presentations of AI solutions, translating technical capabilities into clear, business-oriented use cases and support senior sales team members during enterprise pitches.

• Maintain complete and accurate lead/opportunity data in Zoho CRM, with calls, meetings and follow-ups logged regularly; submit daily/weekly activity reports.

• Use Apollo for prospect and contact discovery, and LinkedIn/Sales Navigator for prospecting and engagement.

• Maintain regular communication with existing customers, coordinate with internal teams on requirements or issues, and support onboarding and post-sales communication.

• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years in Business Development, Inside Sales or Customer Success, preferably in IT/SaaS/AI.

• Hands-on experience with Apollo, Zoho CRM and LinkedIn for lead management.

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; confident with senior management.

• Strong follow-up discipline and a target-driven approach.

• It is a Full Time IT / Software / Data Analyst job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
