Backend Developer / Backend Engineer

### Application Developer – Java & Spring Boot

We are looking for an Application Developer with 1+ year of experience in Java and Spring Boot to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend APIs while collaborating closely with the frontend team to deliver reliable and user-friendly applications.

### Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable RESTful APIs using •Java and Spring Boot••.

• Design and implement backend services with a focus on performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

Work with databases such as •MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB•• for efficient data management.

• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, exception handling, and other backend security practices.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across development and production environments.

• Write clean, reusable, well-tested, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of backend architecture.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of existing applications and backend services.

### Requirements

• 1+ year of professional experience in Java backend/application development.

Strong knowledge of •Core Java, OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling, and Java 8+ features••.

Hands-on experience with •Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Spring Data JPA••.

Good understanding of •SQL and database concepts••.

Familiarity with •Git, Maven/Gradle, and API testing tools such as Postman••.

• Understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, and version control.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with frontend and cross-functional teams.

### Preferred Skills

Experience with •Spring Security, Microservices, Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms••.

• Understanding of API performance optimization, caching, logging, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• It is a Full Time IT / Software / Data Analyst job for candidates with 1 - 4 years of experience.
