We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer / Backend Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, database knowledge, and experience working with modern backend technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and applications.
Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Work with databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Write unit and integration tests.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Monitor application performance and implement improvements.
Maintain technical documentation and development standards.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of at least one backend language: Java, Python, Node.js, C#, PHP, or Go.
Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and web services.
Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of database design, indexing, and query optimization.
Understanding of Git and version control.
Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and application security.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
