Core Responsibilities
• Server-Side Logic: Write and maintain the code that processes business logic, handles requests, and communicates with front-end interfaces.
• API Development: Design, build, and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs so the frontend can securely request and exchange data.
• Database Management: Design schemas, write queries, and manage data storage using relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Performance & Optimization: Monitor application speed, implement caching (e.g., Redis), and optimize queries to handle high traffic.
• Security & Deployment: Implement authentication, authorization, data encryption, and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaboration: Work alongside front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams, participating in Agile ceremonies like daily standups and sprint planning.
