Android Developer / Application Developer

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Android application development along with good knowledge of PHP-based API development and basic understanding of iOS application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java/Kotlin.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly mobile application interfaces following Android UI/UX guidelines.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into Android applications.

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs.

• Work with JSON, XML, authentication, API integration, and server-side data communication.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across different Android devices and OS versions.

• Integrate third-party services such as Firebase, payment gateways, SMS/OTP services, push notifications, Google APIs, and other external services.

• Perform application testing, bug fixing, performance optimization, and release management.

• Work with databases such as MySQL and SQLite for application data management.

• Coordinate with business, QA, backend, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Maintain existing applications and implement new features based on business requirements.

• Participate in application deployment and publishing activities, including Google Play Store releases.

• Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.

• Use version-control systems such as Git/GitHub/Bitbucket for source-code management.

• Understand and work with existing PHP backend applications and APIs.

• Have basic knowledge of iOS development concepts, including Swift/Objective-C, Xcode, application lifecycle, and API integration.

• Coordinate with iOS developers or support basic changes/debugging when required.

• Comfortable working across mobile application and backend/API layers.

• Able to troubleshoot issues involving Android applications, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
