Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of K-Yan devices. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage a significant number of devices effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
•Resolving Hardware and Software related calls on priority and support to ensure closure within SLA.
•Share a visit plan under his jurisdiction on monthly basis to the project manager. Inform the visit plan (based on his/her monthly plan) to the call centre every morning.
•Visit 2 schools at least on regular basis, maintain and update the School Visit Register
•Purpose of School Visit :-
oVerify Hardware and Software up-time.
oFollow-up with the concerned vendor and ensure timely rectification in coordination with the Call Centre, Zonal Head through phone and email.
oTo collect information and feed backs from HM/Community/Students.
oTo collect and verify all the registers/reports with proper sign off.
oMeeting with HM/Committee/Community on education delivery and assessments.
oTaking sign off from the HM. g) Taking good quality pictures and video clips on regular basis.
oBaseline and Endline Survey in respect of E-Learning awareness (as & when required).
oUpload the school visit report details on regular basis.
•In case of any problem inform the Call centre/Zonal head/Project Manager immediately.
•Interact with the District Education Officer (DI), Secondary Education on regular basis.
•Send periodic reports to regional office and attend review meetings on monthly basis : -
oTraining Attendance Sheet and feed backs.
oMonthly School Visit Report
oMonthly Visit Plan
oHardware & Software Up & Down Time Report
oProject Expenses Settlement
oSubmission of Pictures & Videos on monthly basis.
•In case of Theft follow the proper process (School Visit for Verification, Collect Request Letter from School and FIR Report), taking Good Pictures and inform ZH/PM/CR as early as possible.
•Complete the Edu-Technical Support Visit and Preventive Maintenance Visit in the assigned K-Yan schools in the respective districts.
•Any other activities parenting to the greater interest of the company.
•Ensure the business development activities for Schoolnet Products and services i. e. Digital Initiatives in the catchment areas/districts.
