Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Assistant with 4 years of professional experience, including strong hands-on expertise in software testing. This role involves backend development using Java and related technologies, along with writing and executing unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure high-quality code delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

• Collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into the development process.

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices and design patterns.

• Develop and execute unit and integration tests using JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

• Participate in peer code reviews and design discussions.

• Debug and resolve technical issues across development and testing environments.

• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and support automation initiatives.

Required Skills

• 4 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, Java 8+ features, and RESTful web services.

• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and microservice architecture.

• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.

• Familiarity with tools like JUnit, TestNG, Selenium (optional), and Postman.

• Experience with version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
