We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative R&D Engineer to join our EV Charger Development Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing electric vehicle charging systems and related technologies, contributing to the company’s mission to deliver efficient and sustainable charging solutions.. This role offers an in-hand salary of ₹10000 - ₹35000 and a chance to work in a technology-driven environment.
Conduct research and feasibility studies on new EV charging technologies (AC & DC chargers, fast chargers, V2G systems, etc.).
Design and develop hardware and firmware for EV chargers in compliance with international standards (IEC, IS, OCPP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, production, QA) for prototype development and product validation.
Develop circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware prototypes for power electronics modules (rectifiers, converters, control units).
Work on embedded systems, communication protocols (OCPP, Modbus, CAN, Ethernet), and IoT integrations.
Conduct performance testing, fault analysis, and reliability verification of charging systems.
Maintain detailed documentation for R&D activities, including design reports, test results, and BOMs.
Support continuous improvement and cost optimization of existing charger products.
Stay updated with the latest EV charging trends, standards, and technologies.
Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, or related field.
Experience: 2–6 years of experience in R&D, preferably in EV chargers, power electronics, or renewable energy products.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in AC/DC converters, SMPS, and power electronics circuits.
Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and communication interfaces.
Understanding of safety, EMI/EMC compliance, and protection design.
Knowledge of OCPP and EV charging protocols (Type 1, Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO).
Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, and documentation.
