We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Printer Support Engineer to provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various printers including laser, inkjet, dot matrix, commercial, and multifunction devices (MFDs). The ideal candidate will have experience handling both hardware and software aspects of printer support, ensuring smooth and timely resolutions to client issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and configuration of printers, scanners, and multifunction devices (MFDs) at client locations
Diagnose and resolve hardware, connectivity, and driver/software issues
Perform preventive maintenance and part replacements as needed
Provide on-site and remote support as per assigned service calls
Coordinate with internal teams for escalation or spares requirement
Maintain accurate service logs, customer feedback, and ticket closures
Educate users on basic printer operations and troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1–2 years of hands-on experience in printer support / field service
Strong knowledge of laser, inkjet, dot matrix, and commercial printers
Familiarity with printer drivers, OS compatibility, and networking
Basic understanding of MS Office, Windows OS, and connectivity protocols
Good communication and customer service skills
Must be open to field visits and travel within Ahmednagar or nearby regions
Preferred:
Prior experience with brands like HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Ricoh, Xerox
Knowledge of print management solutions and ticketing tools.
