 Job Title: Network Engineer – Core Network

 Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer with 3 years of hands-on experience in core networking. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Cisco switch configuration, VLAN setup, routing protocols, access control lists (ACLs), and firewall configuration and implementation. This role demands strong troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Configure and maintain Cisco switches and routers across enterprise environments. 

• Design and implement VLANs for network segmentation and performance optimization. 

• Manage routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and troubleshoot routing issues. 

• Create and manage Access Control Lists (ACLs) to enforce network security policies. 

• Deploy, configure, and maintain firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.). 

• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks or outages. 

• Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure upgrades and expansions. 

• Document network configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures. 

• Travel to client sites or remote locations as required for network setup, troubleshooting, or upgrades. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in core network engineering. 

• Strong expertise in Cisco switch configuration and routing. 

• Hands-on experience with VLANs, ACLs, and firewall technologies. 

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities. 

• CCNA or equivalent certification preferred. 

• Willingness to travel as per project or client requirements.
