Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Field Network Engineer who can manage server infrastructure and firewall systems at client locations. The ideal candidate should have in-depth, hands-on experience—not just basic knowledge—in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, firewalls, and network devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).

• Manage and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco ASA, SonicWall, Palo Alto) and ensure proper security policy configurations.

• Perform onsite field visits for installation, maintenance, and support at client premises.

• Handle network-related issues including IP addressing, routing, switching, and VPN setup.

• Monitor system performance and proactively address issues before escalation.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations and procedures.

• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and upgrades.

• Ensure data security and system compliance across the client’s IT infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven 2–4 years of experience in server and firewall administration.

• Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.

• Experience in LAN/WAN troubleshooting, structured cabling, and hardware setup.

• Good understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.

• Ability to work independently and travel to client locations as required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
