Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot

• Work with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and write efficient SQL queries

• Use JDBC to connect Java applications with databases

• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver features

• Debug, test, and improve existing code for better performance and stability

• Use Git for version control and follow proper code management practices

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

• Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms

• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development

• Familiarity with SQL, JDBC, and relational databases

• Comfortable using Git and code collaboration tools (GitHub, GitLab)

• Basic understanding of Maven or Gradle

Nice to Have (Optional but Useful)

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (for understanding frontend integration)

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
