Job Summary:
The IT Hardware & Networking Executive is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the organization’s IT hardware infrastructure and network systems. The role involves installing, configuring, and supporting desktops, laptops, servers, and network devices to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues to staff.
Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring proper documentation.
Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades as needed.
Ensure data security and implement backup and recovery solutions.
Configure email clients (Outlook/Webmail), antivirus, and security tools.
Support setup and maintenance of CCTV, biometric systems, and access control systems (if applicable).
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment procurement and servicing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT support, hardware troubleshooting, and network maintenance.
Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and security tools.
Familiarity with tools like remote desktop, Active Directory, and system imaging.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical hardware/software issues efficiently.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or MCP.
Experience in managing IT infrastructure in a multi-user environment.
Knowledge of cloud platforms or server management is a plus.
Work Environment:
On-site support in an office or factory environment.
May require availability outside normal working hours for emergency support or maintenance.
