We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our growing team. The IT Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems, supporting end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. This role is essential in providing technical support and maintaining a high level of IT service across the organization.
Provide first-line technical support to internal users via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Set up new user accounts and manage access controls in line with company policies.
Perform routine system maintenance and updates.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure asset tracking is up to date.
Collaborate with vendors for hardware repairs and software support.
Assist in implementing and documenting IT policies and procedures.
Support and maintain security standards including antivirus, backups, and access rights.
Participate in IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new system rollouts.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in an IT support or technician role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
