IT Technician/Network Technician

IT IS A NIGHT SHIFT JOB.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networking equipment.

• Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime.

• Manage and secure LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches.

• Provide technical support for employees on IT-related issues (systems, email, applications, and devices).

• Ensure smooth functioning of surveillance/security systems integrated with IT infrastructure.

• Perform regular backups, patch updates, and preventive maintenance.

• Maintain IT documentation including network diagrams, asset inventory, and SOPs.

• Collaborate with the security and operations team to ensure IT infrastructure supports business continuity.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

• Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and IT security practices.

• Hands-on troubleshooting ability for both hardware and software.

Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
