Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to staff and users by resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and hardware.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, both remotely and in-person.

Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide timely assistance to resolve IT-related issues.

Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring data security and access controls.

Monitor and maintain IT systems and network performance.

Set up and maintain IT equipment, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of software applications and systems.

Ensure regular backups of data and systems, and participate in disaster recovery planning.

Keep track of IT inventory and ensure all equipment is properly documented.

Assist in training staff on the use of new software or IT systems.

Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.

Experience with troubleshooting and resolving IT issues efficiently.

Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.

Knowledge of network management and security protocols.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

Certification in IT support or network management (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco Certified).

Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
