Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled IT professional with expertise in Microsoft Excel, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and automation. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting Excel-based tools, macros, and automated reporting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy across business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Excel VBA macros, automation scripts, and user forms.

• Create and manage automated reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools for various departments.

• Optimize existing Excel-based processes to improve speed, reliability, and user experience.

• Troubleshoot and resolve VBA, Excel, and data-related issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Integrate Excel with databases (SQL/Access) and other applications when required.

• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with company policies.

• Provide end-user training and technical support for Excel/VBA-based tools.

• Document code, processes, and workflows for knowledge sharing.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Excel formulas, functions, PivotTables, Power Query, and VBA programming.

• Experience in automation of repetitive tasks and process improvement.

• Knowledge of MS Access, SQL, or other database systems is an added advantage.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Good communication skills to interact with non-technical users.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• 2–5 years of experience in Excel VBA development and IT support.

• Experience with reporting, MIS, and process automation in a corporate environment.

• Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems integration with Excel will be a plus.
