IT Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, managing, and implementing IT systems and infrastructure to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users, maintaining security protocols, and helping in system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software.

• Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person.

• Manage and monitor local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet systems.

• Ensure data security and perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.

• Maintain and support servers, cloud environments, and databases.

• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords; manage Active Directory or equivalent.

• Assist in implementing new technology solutions and system upgrades.

• Document internal procedures and prepare IT reports.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory IT policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience (2-5 years) as an IT support specialist, system administrator, or similar role.

• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and hardware/software troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and ITSM tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified (MCSA, MCSE), Cisco (CCNA), or similar are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and tools.

• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, PowerShell, etc.).

• Experience with ERP or CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.).

• Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management best practices.
