IT Professional

Designs, implements, maintain, and support an organization's computer systems and networks, ensuring they are functional, secure, and efficient. Key responsibilities include installing hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, managing networks, providing technical support to users, and developing security protocols.

·         System Design & Implementation:

Plan, design, and set up computer systems, networks, servers, and software applications. 

·         Maintenance & Management:

Regularly update and maintain systems, hardware, and software to ensure optimal performance, compatibility, and functionality. 

·         Troubleshooting & Support:

Diagnose and resolve technical problems with hardware, software, and networks, and provide technical support to end-users. 

·         Security Management:

Implement security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems, to protect IT infrastructure from threats and develop security policies. 

·         Network Administration:

Configure and manage network devices, ensuring their security and optimal performance. 

Technical & Strategic Functions

·         Research & Evaluation:

Keep up-to-date with the latest IT technologies and trends, and research new solutions to improve business operations. 

·         Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems, processes, and procedures for future reference. 

·         Project Management:

Oversee IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. 

·         Data Backup & Recovery:

Develop and implement plans for creating backups and recovering lost data in case of system failures. 

Collaboration & Communication

·         Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Work with other departments and IT professionals to gather requirements and provide necessary technical input. 

·         Vendor Management:

Oversee the selection and management of IT vendors for hardware, software, and telecommunications. 

·         User Training:

Provide training and support to end-users to help them use systems effectively and improve their productivity. 

·         Education:

·         A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is generally required. 

·         Experience:

·         Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience are necessary, often with experience as a Staff or Junior Accountant. 

·         Technical Skills:

·         Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally ERP) and strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential. 

·         Soft Skills:

·         Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
