IT Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software components of computer systems and networks. You will also provide technical support to ensure the seamless operation of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

• Perform regular maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently.

• Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, or in person.

• Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets.

• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.

• Assist in the rollout of new applications and system upgrades.

• Ensure data security and proper backup procedures are followed.

• Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.

• Collaborate with other IT staff on projects and system improvements.

• Experience in Software installation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a computer technician or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic networking.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent is a plus.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field preferred.
