IT Hardware Engineer

Laptop Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain laptops and related hardware. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, and related peripherals.

Perform hardware replacements (motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboards, screens, batteries, etc.).

Troubleshoot software issues including OS installation, drivers, and applications.

Provide virus removal, data recovery, and backup solutions.

Perform system upgrades and configuration as per user requirements.

Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of IT equipment.

Maintain service records and update job status in the system.

Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement.

Provide technical support to customers and resolve queries efficiently.

Requirements & Skills:

Diploma / ITI / Degree in Computer Hardware, IT, or related field.

Proven experience as a Laptop/Computer Technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of laptop hardware components and troubleshooting methods.

Good understanding of Windows, Linux, and basic networking.

Ability to identify and solve problems quickly.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
