IT Hardware Engineer

• Hardware Management:

  Install, configure, and maintain hardware like desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and network components. 

• Troubleshooting:

  Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and network issues to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth operations. 

• System Maintenance:

  Perform regular audits, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on hardware systems. 

• Inventory Management:

  Track, manage, and document hardware inventory and system configurations. 

• Technical Support:

  Provide technical support, guidance, and training to end-users and other team members on hardware-related matters. 

• Security and Efficiency:

  Ensure network security and optimize performance to meet organizational needs. 

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, hardware specifications, and support procedures. 

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Hardware Expertise:

  Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, including their setup, function, and maintenance. 

• Network Skills:

  Proficiency in network configuration, protocols (like TCP/IP), and network security. 

• Troubleshooting:

  Ability to perform hardware and software diagnostics and identify root causes of problems. 

• Technical Support:

  Skills in providing clear and understandable technical assistance to users. 

• Collaboration:

  Ability to work effectively with other IT professionals and cross-functional teams. 

• Adaptability:

  Willingness to stay updated on the latest hardware and networking trends and technologies. 

• Certifications (Optional but beneficial):
